Nitinol requires carefully controlled thermal processing to achieve a desired Austenite finish (Af) temperature. By controlling heat-treatment temperature, time, and material condition, we can tune the transformation behavior to meet specific device requirements.
Our salt bath system provides precise, uniform heat treatment for Nitinol, supporting shape setting and transformation temperature tuning. Controlled processing helps deliver consistent, repeatable results for prototypes and production components.
